“ This place was so good I had to come back the next day.. I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review. Joes tacos has earned every star. The chicken tacos and burrito were delicious. They may not offer as “many ingredients” but they are so fresh and the food is so good it doesn’t need anything else. The burrito comes with Joes sauce which is like a chipotle ranch and that tasted amazing. Got a melon juice which was like a cantaloupe juice. Also amazing. My new favorite taco shop. ”
“ Held an open house from 10:00 to 2:00. Decided to try this place. It may end up being where we eat every time we hold this property open. My husband (a Phoenix native) says it’s his new favorite taco place. ”
“ Straightforward taco joint, I tried the asada and pastor, asada was my favorite. Fast service, relaxed atmosphere. I recommend the TOASTED tacos, those are the ones you should order, the cheese crust adds a nice 'unique' touch. ”
“ Bell road location is now gone .Joe's tacos,so this place is literally across the street from work. I've passed it a million times, seen the logo and never thought to try it. Today we were looking for some Mexican food close to my work. Checked Google and this pops up with some high ratings and reviews. So I view some pics and it has peaked my interest. Pull up, store front looks like it might be a small spot but open the door and it's a pretty big space. I take a look at their menu and super simple. A few meats and a few ways to order. It's Joe's Tacos so of course I've got to try the tacos. Had to try a couple of the crispy cheese tacos and a regular taco. My go to is always carne asada and sometimes chicken. My wife wanted to try the pastor vampiro and pastor corn quesadilla. The also have bottled agua frescas,so we added a bottle of watermelon. While we wait we head over to the salsa bar and they have a red salsa, green salsa and some pickled onions. We pick up all three and within a few minutes our food is ready. They call your number. You walk up to the counter and the food is sitting there right beneath two low hanging lamps ...First impression food looks delicious. The crispy tacos are definitely the way to go. The Tacos have a crispy cheese shell cooked onto the taco.Tacos come with onions, Cilantro and a guacamole sauce. Take the first bite and instantly we're both hooked. So then we think maybe we just got the perfect protein for each of us and that's why we like it so much. So we swap asada and pastor and we're both impressed. So now I'm thinking they can't have all three be great tasting. Because at most taco places one of the meats fails on flavor or texture. So on to the chicken taco I go and bang it's another winner. So now it's time to add the salsa and pickled onions. The red has a nice kick at the end it is the spicier of the two. The green has a mild great taste. As for the pickled onions, never been a big fan of onions or pickled onions... I don't know what they do to these things but the flavor is like none other. The pickled onions at Joe's Tacos are phenomenal. Next pop open the agua fresca. Now I've never been a big fan of agua, frescas or watermelon. But once again I don't know what they do to this but it's so delicious.... So delicious! In fact that I go back to the counter and buy a different bottle ( the cucumber, mint with lime). And you guessed it folks. Another freaking winner. Definitely adding this to the rotation. Amazing flavors on all the food. Top to bottom. You cannot go wrong at this place. Everything is delicious! Tacos are priced right 3 each, Crispy tacos 3.50. I believe corn quesadilla with meat was 6.50. Definitely next visit trying a burrito those were priced at 12. ”
“ This place was really good. I asked if the meat seasoning etc was gluten free and told it was (will update if I have a reaction). Fingers crossed its gluten free, but either way these tacos are amazing. Tried the chicken, pastor, and asada. Chicken is my favorite by far, the toasted taco with the crusted cheese on the outside is amazing and gives this place a unique option other taco shops do not have. Give them a shot if your in the area, friendly staff and great food. Can't beat that! Update: I have gone twice now with no reaction, confirmed gluten free. ”
“ Joe’s Tacos is one of my go-to spots in Moon Valley. The vampiro tacos are incredible—crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Their toasted tacos are something different in the best way. When I’m in the mood for a burrito, they always hit the mark, especially with their Joe’s sauce—it’s spot on. I also like that they have cactus as an option; adding it to a chicken burrito takes it up a notch. Most importantly, the staff are great—always friendly, welcoming, and quick to recognize returning customers. You can tell they care about both the food and the people coming through the door, which makes the experience that much better. ”
“ Food was delicious, original and toasted. We tried pastor, chunk beef and Cactus, all three been fantastic! Melon Fresca was delicious! Not authentic and feel americanized but definitely delicious and will go back! ”
“ First time here and not the last for sure.. Got 3 tacos, adobada, cabeza and asada and all 3 meats were delicious.. corn and flour tortillas are really good.. ”
